An anthology of photographs adorned with lyrics from King Solomon’s poem “Song of Songs”, as rendered by Lefteris Papadopoulos

Summer 1988. Building of the Old Nuns School. The kindergarten classroom wall serves as the setting. Marks of child memory. Transformations in the intangible field of light.

Spring 1995. The rebellious soul searches for the stone sounds of the Middle Ages. Flawless revelation. ‘The aroma and the fragrance of all myrrh are you.’

The sea is my third stop. The shipwreck. The summer. The energy that is refracted through the body. Man becomes a sun without sunrises.

And when the total annihilation meets the light of eternity, it marries with the lyrics of Solomon as these are rendered by Lefteris Papadopoulos: ‘With the drunkenness of love, let me stay. Let love wave on me eternally.’ When light penetrates every molecule of the body and motion meets the transparency of existence, then, the orbits outline the complete annihilation.
