We first met in 2013 on the occasion of my photo exhibition at the United Nations. Since then, I’ve come back five more times. From the very first moment, the city’s freedom, acceptance of diversity, creativity, avant-garde, and communication have been felt on my skin. I walked its avenues and visited its attractions: the Statue of Liberty, Brooklyn Bridge, Central Park, Ground Zero… In 2020, I celebrated the coming of the New Year at Times Square! I was enchanted by its museums: MOMA, Metropolitan, Guggenheim, Photographic, 9/11 Memorial… I fell in love with its light and its shadows, its contrasts and its smells, the reflection of its moments.
