Exhibition Details
The Limassol Photography Festival organized by BPRArts Cultural Management, took place in Limassol, from the 20th October to the 12th November 2023.
The theme chosen for 2023 was “Place or Landscape.” The artists participating in the open-air exhibition at the Molos Seaside Park of Limassol, namely Antigoni Solomonidou Droussiotou, Nicholas Constantinou, George Pantazis, Mo Khatib and Max Zhiltsov, infiltrate the city and through their pictures convey its daily life and local identity. The experiences and techniques of the artists converse with the current image of Limassol and interact with it. The composition of diverse semiological elements in their photographs gives rise to the question whether this is a Place that has become a Landscape or a Landscape that has become a Place.
At 22 October 2023 17:30 – 18:00, took place work presentation and discussion with photographer Antigoni Solomonidou Droussiotou under the tittle “Capturing emotions”, at 6×6 Centre for Photography.
